This criminal is fastened, at full length, upon a sort of bedstead, a
chump of wood serving for a pillow. His hands and his feet are loaded with iron manacles and fetters; his neck is chained to a post, and fastened by two padlocks.
This Plate appears to represent a section of the cage described in Plate XV.

Ce criminel est attaché, tout de son long, sur une espèce de bois-de-lit. Une piece de bois lui sert d'oreiller, Il a les fers aux pieds, et aux mains. Une chaînechaînechaînecadenas qu'il au col est attachée à un poteau, avec deux cadenas.
Cette Planche paroit représenter une section de la cage de la Planche XV.
