Color: Black and white
Topic: Decapitation 斬刑
Description: The position of the executioner and of his helper is mostly visible, the photograph being shot from aside. Notice the Western officers, probably French (two at the far right, one at the left), among the spectators. This beheading probably took place just before the lingchi of the "pseudo-Fu-zhu-li", cf. the chief executioner, and his young assistant with a white shirt and a black jacket, supervising. Notice also Western Onlookers, at extreme right.
