Text_Interest: This editorial presents a curious mixt of true and false information, which can be found also in Shenbao and North China Herald. This article is the most lucid in its suspicion of the court practicing deliberate desinformation. The argument that the murderer must be harshly punished lest the Mongol princes to defect for the Russian is grounded, but the reader must be aware that it comes from a journal run by the Japanese, who coveted rallying Mongol princes to their side.

Comment: The information is basically correct, but the name, function and motive of the murderer have been deliberately falsified, for reasons that the writer of this editorial wittily suspects.
