Questa mattina pure ho assistito come medico (armato però di macchina fotografica) a tre decapitazioni di cinesi colpevoli d'omicidio sulla persona d'un cinese e condannati secondo la legge cinese da un tribunale misto. Avevano trovato un boia di talento che, con tre colpi, ha saputo staccare tre teste; in pochissimi minuti l'operazione era compiuta per tutti quanti. Uno dei pazienti rideva e pareva tutto felice, è stato il primo, gli altri erano svenuti.
