Title: Lingchi performed as an anatomic dissection
Information: This highly irrealistic representation of a dismemberment or lingchi, though authentified by a legal placard lying on the ground, has nothing to do with real executions by lingchi. It migth proceed from anatomic plates, hence the meaty muscles whose volume are enhanced by shadows of the first picture, or the hieratism of Christ descent from the cross in the second, both betraying a strong Western, Christian influence.
